In 2023, I made this quick-turnaround illustration for an article by Michael Schulson about the racist history of biosocial criminology in MIT's Undark magazine. AD: Amanda Grennell.

My first for MIT's Undark Magazine (around my 31st birthday!), I made these illustrations for an article by Frieda Klotz about standards of care and debate over pediatric transgender medicine. I told my AD, Amanda Grennell (who listened to me), that Undark should use "assigned female at birth" and "assigned male at birth" instead of "birth-assigned girls" and "birth-assigned boys," and people on the internet got so mad.
